With a focus on education, authenticity and food-pairing potential, Déjà Vu brings together distinctive producers and styles that highlight the versatility of sake and other Japanese drinks.

Yukino Ochiai is one of Australias leading sake educators and advocates. Awarded the title of Sake Samurai in 2017, the highest honour in the sake industry, she became the first female Sake Samurai in Australia and only the third Australian to receive the distinction. Originally from Japan and now based in Australia, Yukino is also a Kikisake-shi, WSET sake educator and IWC Sake Judge. Through her work, she has played an important role in making sake more accessible and helping consumers understand its quality, diversity and food-pairing potential.
